On behalf of MBI Camps, I’d like to say we were honored to have presented the morning camp on this very historic day at the Little League International complex in Williamsport, PA.
I'd like to thank head coach Mark Montgomery & the University of Maryland softball team, head coach Clarisa Crowell & the Penn State softball team, and our volunteer coaches - Tom O’Malley and Cory Goodman from South Williamsport High School, Alvernia University head coach Wes Landrum, Hood College head coach Terry Burdette and assistant coach Bayleigh Masterson, and New England University head coach Ben Master for helping us create a one-of-a-kind softball experience for over 120 young and aspiring athletes.
I'd also like to thank Steve Keener, Patrick Wilson, Ashlea Nash-Miller and the entire Little League organization for hosting this historic #GirlsWithGame Experience event.
Sincerest regards,
Keith Calta
Known as The Pipeline to the Women’s National Team, the USA Softball High Performance Program (HPP) will identify a pool of athletes to train, compete and represent USA Softball through domestic and international competition. The program will focus on providing an equal opportunity for players to show their talent while growing the game of softball in the United States and remaining inclusive to all that wish to participate and develop their skills.
MBI Camps, in coordination with Little League, the University of Maryland and Penn State University, is proud to announce the Girls with Game Experience, featuring a two-hour instructional clinic for females ages 9-14, led by representatives from both Division I Big Ten universities, starting at 10 am. After the clinic, all registrants will have the opportunity to watch their instructors take the field in an exhibition game at 4:30 pm in Howard J. Lamade Stadium, the home of the Little League Baseball World Series Championship every August.
The registration fee for those interested in attending the softball clinic is $80 and includes a clinic t-shirt, admission to the World of Little League Museum, lunch, and special seating at the exhibition game.
